Abstract
The chapter presents examples of hard turning applications, its comparison with grinding and results of hard turning researches on cold work tool steel with the cubic boron nitride tools. The influence of cutting conditions and material hardness on cutting forces, surface roughness, sequences of chip formation and thermograms are presented.
