Abstrakt
High Speed Cutting (HSC) occupies the predominant position among observed development trends of machining. Its more and more general application in the industrial practice results from the advantages of this technology, such as: bigger cutting efficiency, better quality of the surface, lower cutting forces, more profitable thermal proprieties and stability of the cutting processes. The simulation model of the cutting process was presented in this chapter. The model permits the quick visualization of the process realization in the wide range of the cutting parameters. Example distributions of the cutting forces components, wedge temperature and von Mises stresses were described during the nickel alloy (Inconel 718) machining for various feeds.
