Abstract: W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań strat tarcia w silniku spalinowym, uzyskane na stanowisku modelowym, wyposażonym w specjalny układ regulacji temperatury, zapewniający znacznie większą stabilność temperatury niż ma to miejsce w standardowych układach. Podstawowym warunkiem obiektywności badań silników spalinowych jest utrzymanie powtarzalnych warunków prowadzenia eksperymentu. Omówiono wyniki badań laboratoryjnych zależności momentu wywołanego tarciem od temperatury oleju w misce olejowej oraz wyniki symulacji komputerowych zmian momentu tarcia wywołanych lokalnym przyrostem temperatury na gładzi cylindrowej. Sprecyzowane wnioski pozwalają ocenić wpływ temperatury oleju na straty tarcia w głównych węzłach tarcia silnika spalinowego.

In the paper the results of researches, which were obtained at test stand equipped with special temperature control system which assures much more stabilization of temperature than in regular temperature control systems, are presented. The main requirement of every test objectiveness, especially of combustion engine tests, is to ensure the conditions repeatability. The results of laboratory researches over friction torque and lubricating oil temperature relation are discussed. Computer simulations results of friction torque changes caused by local oil temperature increment on the cylinder liner are also presented. Precise conclusions allow to evaluate the influence of the oil temperature at the friction losses in main friction pairs of the combustion engine.
