Abstract: W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badania aktywności polskich przedsiębiorstw budowlanych w projektach finansowanych ze środków publicznych. Przeanalizowano strukturę przedsiębiorstw uczestniczących w realizacji takich projektów. Określono szanse i zagrożenia przedsiębiorstw wynikające z zaangażowania w inwestycje publiczne. Wskazano duże ryzyko niepowodzenia, ale jeszcze większe korzyści wynikające z takiej aktywności.

The paper presents the results of the studies on a commitment of the polish construction enterprises in the projects funded by public finances. A structure of the enterprises participating in a realization of these projects was analyzed. The paper describes the opportunities and threats for the enterprises that result from the commitment in public investments. It was showed there is a high risk of the failure, but also there are larger advantages of this commitment.
