Abstract
Odporność na zużywanie badanych materiałów polimerowych podczas tarcia po stali w obecności luźnego ścierniwa zależy zarówno rodzaju materiału polimerowego, jak i ziarnistości ścierniwa. Zaobserwowano, ze wzrost wielkości ziaren ścierniwa powoduje zmniejszenie odporności na zużywanie ścierne badanych materiałów. Zauważono także, że tworzywa o większej plastyczności są bardziej odporne na ścieranie w stosunku do tworzyw o większej sztywności.
The resistance to wear of examined polymer materials during friction on steel in the presence of thin abradant depends on both the polymer type of material, and the granularity of abradant. It was observed that the increase in the size of grains of abradant causes reducing the resistance to abrasive friction of examined materials. It was also noticed, that materials with the greater plasticity were more resistant to abrasion in relation to materials with higher stiffness.
