Abstract: Na efektywność generowania numerycznego modelu terenu decydujący wpływ ma rozmieszczenie punktów pomiarowych. W przypadku klasycznych pomiarów geodezyjnych dobór punktów reprezentujących teren jest dokonywany w trakcie pomiaru i jest uzależniony przede wszystkim od doświadczeń zespołu pomiarowego. Zastosowanie nowoczesnych technologii pomiarowych, w których punkty rejestrowane są automatycznie, a o ich rozmieszczeniu decydują parametry ustalone w systemie sterującym pracą instrumentu, wymaga często wstępnego przetworzenia zbiorów pomiarowych w celu dostosowania ich struktury do tworzenia numerycznego modelu terenu. W artykule podano charakterystykę wyników pomiaru pozyskanych skanerem laserowym i przedstawiono propozycję przetwarzania takiego zbioru na przykładzie testowym.

The effectiveness of digital terrain model generation is determined by positioning of measurement points. In case of classical land survey measurements the choice of points representing the terrain is done during the measurement and depends mainly on the experience of survey team. Application of modern measurement technologies where points are recorded automatically and their positioning is determined by parameters recorded in the system controlling the instrument operation often requires initial processing of measurement results to adjust their structure to generation of a digital terrain model. The paper presents a characteristic of measurement results obtained using a laser scanner and a proposal for processing such a set on test example.
