Abstract
i charakterystykę sposobu obliczenia przychodu z gruntów uprawnych (prawidła fasjonowania).
This paper presents the characteristics of the Josephinian Land Survey as a massively surviving historical source which can be used to reconstruct the spatial layouts of towns and villages. The text consists of three parts. The first part discusses selected cadastral documents that are most useful in the study of historical spatial layouts. This is primarily a survey book, in which all land parcels were entered, a description of the boundaries separating the village from neighboring settlements, and the characteristics of how to calculate the income from farmland (registration basis). The second contains a description of the state of preservation of the cadaster and practical comments on the specifics of using the source in question. The third part presents publicly available guides to the collections of Polish and Ukrainian archives, making it easier to reach the files of the Josephinian Land Survey. The paper also includes illustrations showing photocopies of the documents in question.
