Abstrakt
W artykule przedstawiono analizę projektów austro-węgierskich baterii artylerii nadbrzeżnej kalibru 42 cm w lokalizacjach wzgórz Gomila koło Puli oraz Prevlaka koło Kotoru z lat 1914–1917. Badanie przeprowadzono na podstawie źródeł archiwalnych i dokumentacji projektowej. Wykazano istotne różnice architektoniczne: „Gomila” reprezentowała rozwiązanie kubaturowe, „Prevlaka” innowacyjną „architekturę negatywową” z kawernami w skale. Praca stanowi pierwszą analizę tych obiektów w literaturze polskiej.
The article presents an analysis of Austro-Hungarian coastal artillery battery projects of 42 cm calibre at Gomila near Pula and Prevlaka near Kotor from 1914–1917. The study is based on archival sources and examination of design documentation. Significant architectural differences were evident: Gomila represented a volumetric block, while Prevlaka featured an innovative “negative architecture”, consisting of rock-carved caverns. This work is the first analysis of these structures in Polish literature.
