Abstrakt
Art plays a significant role in shaping the identity and perception of contemporary sacred interiors. After the Second Vatican Council, it ceased to serve merely a decorative function and became a tool for organizing liturgical space. The study, based on case studies and narrative analysis, demonstrates the complementary interaction of architecture and art in the creation of meaning, symbolic dimension, and the experience of the sacred.
Sztuka we współczesnych wnętrzach sakralnych odgrywa istotną rolę w kształtowaniu ich tożsamości i percepcji. Po Soborze Watykańskim II nastąpiło wyraźne skierowanie uwagi na rolę sztuki sakralnej jako istotnego i integralnego elementu organizującego przestrzeń liturgiczną. Badania, oparte na studiach przypadków i analizie narracyjnej, wskazują na komplementarne współdziałanie architektury i sztuki w tworzeniu znaczeń, wymiaru symbolicznego oraz doświadczenia sacrum.
