W pracy przedstawiono numeryczne symulacje turbulentnego przepływu wody i pary przez przewód cylindryczny. Wyznaczone zostały turbulentne profile prędkości płynu oraz wartości współczynnika wnikania ciepła na powierzchniach wewnętrznych przewodów dla szerokich zakresów liczby Reynoldsa. Wyznaczone numerycznie profile prędkości porównano z profilami prędkości uzyskanymi z równań opisanych w literaturze, a numerycznie wyznaczone wartości współczynnika wnikania ciepła z wartościami tego współczynnika z równań kryterialnych. W obydwóch przypadkach uzyskano wysoką zgodność wyników numerycznych z wynikami uzyskanymi na podstawie równań empirycznych, co potwierdza dokładność zastosowanej metody.
In this paper the numerical simulations of the turbulent flow of water and steam through the pipe with circular cross section were presented. Based on the performed calculations, turbulent velocity profiles were determined in the flowing fluid and the heat transfer coefficient on the inner surfaces of pipes for a wide range of Reynolds number. In order to estimate the accuracy of the results, which were determined turbulent velocity profiles were compared with the profiles, which were obtained from the power-law velocity profiles. Then heat transfer coefficient values were compared with the values of this coefficient, which was then set on the basis of the empirical equations. For both the water flow and steam flow high accuracy was achieved, which confirms the accuracy of the method.
