Abstract: Na przełomie XIX i XX wieku w łańcuckiej posiadłości Potockich wzorem wielu europejskich ogrodów powstał zespół szklarni, w których prowadzono uprawę roślin tropikalnych. Wyjątkowe miejsce zajmowały w nich storczyki Orchidaceae, tworzące bardzo znaną kolekcję. Po wojnie kolekcja ta przechodziła zmienne losy. Współcześnie znajduje się w nowej storczykarni Muzeum-Zamku w Łańcucie, gdzie uprawiane są okazy pochodzące z różnych stref klimatycznych. Całość stanowi unikatowy w świecie zbiór storczyków, nawiązujący do XIX-wiecznej Reichenbachii.

At the turn of the 19th and 20th century in Potocki family’s property, following the example of many European gardens, greenhouse complex came into existance. Among many tropical plants, which were cultivated there, special place took the orchids Orchidaceae. They constituted very famous collection. After the war collection went through vicissitudes of fortune. In our times it occurs in new greenhouse for the cultivation of orchids in the Łańcut Castle Museum, where the examples from various climate zones are cultivated. Whole makes an unique in the world orchids collection referring to 19th Reichenbachia.
