Abstract
Parki w miejscowościach uzdrowiskowych są ważnym elementem wpływającym na rozwój uzdrowisk. Stanowią ich nieodłączny element. Intensywny rozwój uzdrowisk nastąpił w XIX w. Charakterystyczna dla uzdrowisk okazała się XIX-wieczna kompozycja parków. Mimo rozwoju sztuki ogrodowej to właśnie XIX-wieczny wygląd ogrodów stał się wyznacznikiem dla parków w uzdrowiskach. Uzupełnieniem ogrodowej kompozycji w najbliższym sąsiedztwie miast stawały się parki leśne o bardzo bogatym programie. Istniejące uzdrowiska powiększają tereny zieleni miejskiej, tworząc nowe obiekty parkowe odpowiadające współczesnym zapotrzebowaniom. W parkach historycznych prowadzone są prace rewaloryzacyjne. Wyniki tych działań bywają różne, zarówno dobre, jak i kontrowersyjne. Interesującym obszarem badawczym stały się okolice Gór Opawskich ze znajdującymi się po obu stronach polsko-czeskiej granicy uzdrowiskami, o niezwykle interesujących zasobach parkowych. Przedstawienie ich ukazuje różne podejście do problematyki ochrony i konserwacji spuścizny kulturowej, wyrażanej dziedzictwem ogrodowym.
The parks in the health spas are an important element influencing their development. These parks seem to be inseparable elements of the towns. The 19th century was the period when the most intense park development was observed. The 19th century park structure became a characteristic component of the health spas. Despite the development of garden art, the 19th century garden appearance became a indicator for the parks in heath spas. Forest parks with their rich programs were the supplement of the garden structure nearby the towns. Existing health spas enlarge the green areas of a town by creating new park objects meeting the requirements of a modern person. At the same time restoration works are performed in historical parks. The results of these efforts vary from very good to controversial. The region of the Opawa Mountains has attracted the attention of the researchers due to the fact that many health spas with their interesting park resources are situated there, both in Poland and behind the Czech border. The presentation of these parks shows different approaches to the issue of preservation and restoration of the legacy expressed by the garden heritage.
