Abstract
Uzdrowiska lokalizowane są zwykle na terenach bogatych w walory krajobrazowe. Ich zieleń zawsze tworzyła mocno działający na zmysły odbiorcy obraz, a estetyka otoczenia wpływała na standard wypoczynku. Stan oraz jakość terenów zieleni odgrywała i ciągle odgrywa istotną rolę w rozwoju uzdrowisk. Wraz z rozwojem lecznictwa, opartego na zasobach naturalnych, stale wzrasta zainteresowanie ośrodkami historycznymi, atrakcyjnymi klimatycznie i krajobrazowo, ale również proponującymi wieloaspektowe profile lecznicze. Taką możliwość daje Iwonicz-Zdrój. Jednak istniejące tam tereny parkowe wymagają konserwacji i rewitalizacji. Kluczowym aspektem w kształtowaniu wizerunku miasta jest zachowanie w najpełniejszej postaci historycznych elementów struktury przestrzennej oraz odtworzenie niezachowanych komponentów (m.in. fragmentu parku zdrojowego).
Spas are usually located in areas that can be characterized by high quality landscapes. Their green areas have always formed an image which acted intensively on the receiver’s senses and the beauty of the surroundings had influence on the level of relaxation. Condition and quality of green areas have played and still plays an important role in the development of spas. With the development of natural therapeutics, an increased interest is seen in historical spa centers with attractive climate and landscapes and offering a broad therapeutic profile. Iwonicz-Zdrój gives such a possibility. Nevertheless, the existing park areas need maintenance and revitalization. A key aspect in the shaping of Iwonicz Zdrój’s space is to preserve – in the fullest form – the spatial structure of historical elements, as well as to recreate of non-existing components (such as the arm of the spa park).
