Abstract
Działanie światłem mogącym przejmować rolę detalu architektonicznego jest określeniem umownym i bardzo ogólnie określającym złożoność tego rodzaju procesów. Zróżnicowane możliwości działania mają głęboki aspekt psychologiczny, fizjologiczny, filozoficzny, a w konsekwencji - duchowy. Przenikanie promieni świetlnych przez barwne szkło jest jednym z podstawowych rodzajów operowania światłem w przestrzeni sakralnej, gdzie możemy obserwować zachodzenie symbiotycznych związków między światłem, materią i otoczeniem, a odbiorcą.
The "interaction of light", which may act as an architectural detail, constitutes a conceptual phrase and it only vaguely defines the complexity of such a process. The variety of possibilities of such interactions have deep psychological, physiological, philosophical and consequently, also spiritual aspects. Transmission of light through coloured glass is one of the basic types of light interactions within sacred space. This is one way that it is possible to observe the occurrence of symbiotic relationships between light, matter, environment and observer.
