Abstract: Dziedzictwo postindustrialne w ostatnich latach stało się tematem często poruszanym w rozmaitych dyskusjach o architekturze. Ogromną rolę w jej percepcji i oswojeniu tego typu obiektów odgrywa detal architektoniczny, który stanowi jeden z elementów jej wyrazu. Wiele obiektów produkcyjnych poddanych w ostatnich latach generalnym remontom uzyskało nowy blask, a stało się to m.in. dzięki pieczołowicie odnowionemu detalowi.

In recent years the issue of industrial heritage has been frequently discussed by theoreticians and practitioners of architecture. An important role in the perception and the taming of this kind of heritage plays an architectural detail, which is one of the elements of expression. Until today many postindustrial buildings had undergone extensive repairs and gained new glow; in large part that was because of carefully renewed detail.
