Abstract: Lata trzydzieste XX wieku to okres żywiołowego rozwoju radia. Te nowe medium zmieniło nie do poznania upowszechnianie informacji, wiedzy i rozrywki. Wywarło również wpływ na kształt architektury. Niektóre z powstających w tamtym okresie budynków noszą znamiona ówczesnej fascynacji radiem. W budynkach należących do kompanii związanych z radiem spotkać można do dziś specyficzny detal architektoniczny.

The 1930s was a period of rapid development of radio. The new medium has changed the methods of disseminating information, knowledge and entertainment beyond recognition. Also it had a direct influence on the architecture. The architectural detail which can be found in some of the buildings erected for the radio companies at that time clearly resemble that fascination.
