Abstract: Percepcja detali architektonicznych budynków wysokich zależy od wysokości, na jakiej zostały umieszczone, jak również od oddalenia obserwatora od obiektu. Zróżnicowane sposoby kreowania estetyki elewacji współczesnych wieżowców zostały omówione na podstawie warszawskich przykładów. Uwzględnione zostały: różnorodne kształtowanie fasad, wprowadzanie elementów informacyjnych oraz iluminacji.

The perception of high-rise buildings' architectural details depends on the height at which they are placed as well as the distance of the observer from the building. This article describes differing methods of forming the aesthetics of contemporary high-rise building elevations based on examples from Warsaw. The elements it considers are: the diverse shaping of facades, introduction of informational elements and illumination.
