Abstract: W krótkich rozważaniach przywołano dwa przykłady detali zastosowanych w roli medium - na różny sposób i w różnym celu aktywnego. Obydwa potraktowano jako preteksty - symbole możliwych dwóch różnych dróg rozwoju architektury.

This paper compares two examples of contemporary details, which have been designed as medium - active in different ways and in different aims. Both of them are presented as pretext - symbol of two possible different lines for architectural development.
