Abstract
Historyczne obiekty i zespoły przemysłowe stanowią istotne dziedzictwo kultury materialnej. Budynki i struktury o skromnej, niezauważalnej architekturze, pozbawione pierwotnej funkcji, o poważnie nadwyrężonej kondycji technicznej wydają się być elementami niepotrzebnymi i skazanymi na nieuchronną zagładę. Obszary, na których się znajdują, nierzadko posiadają znaczną wartość inwestycyjną. Postrzeganie zespołów przemysłowych przez pryzmat wartości działki budowlanej potęguje niebezpieczeństwo przyspieszonej likwidacji – przemijania zespołu poprzemysłowego.
Historical and industrial buildings are an important heritage of material culture. Architecturally plain and ‘inconspicuous’ buildings and edifices lacking their original function and being in bad technical condition seem useless and doomed to destruction. Areas on which they are built are often quite valuable in terms of investments. Seeing industrial buildings from the angle of building plot’s value increases the danger of premature demolition – disappearing of postindustrial complex.
