Abstract: Opracowanie dotyczy związków architektury materialnej z technologią wirtualnej rzeczywistości. Naukowcy wykorzystują cyfrowe modele obiektów do badań z zakresu historii architektury oraz do szerokiej popularyzacji dziedzictwa architektonicznego poprzez interaktywne aplikacje i systemy hybrydowe łączące świat wirtualny z materialnym. Nowa technologia umożliwia wyzwolenie z ograniczeń praw fizyki i łamanie myślowych schematów dotyczących kształtowania i doświadczania przestrzeni.

The paper deals with the relationships between the phisical architecture and the technology of virtual reality. Scientists use digital objects to study the history of architecture and broad dissemination of architectural heritage through interactive applications and hybrid systems combining virtual world with the material. New technology enables architects to liberation from the limitations of the laws of physics and breaking patterns of spatial organization.
