Abstract
Artykuł prezentuje znaczenie właściwego konstruowania – projektowania i wykonania – „styku” budynku (elewacji i jej wykończenia) z gruntem lub nawierzchnią (np. chodnika). Analiza wybranych (głównie z terenu Krakowa) realizacji, powstałych na przestrzeni blisko 100 lat, dowodzi, że większość cokołów budynków szybko ulega destrukcji pod wpływem mrozu i wilgoci. Część rozwiązań jednak zaskakująco dobrze sprawdziła się w praktyce – zwłaszcza okładziny ceramiczne, kamienne (niektóre rodzaje) czy tzw. tynki szlachetne. Nie zawsze więc konieczne jest stosowanie materiałów budowlanych i wykończeniowych nowej generacji – droższych i wymagających specjalnych rozwiązań w ich montażu.
The paper presents the importance and consequences of such incorrect construction – designings and realizations of the “point of junction” of buildings (elevations and theirs finishes) with the ground or the pavement (eg. the side-walk). Observations made on the example of houses of Cracow demonstrate that the part from them came true in the period of 100 years of the exploitation but the part of them not. Very well work till today some facings stones, ceramic and some kinds of plasters. Cost-effektive is to usage checked solutions – instead materials expensive and difficult in montage.
