Abstract
Pierwsze projekty zagospodarowania przestrzeni Zakopanego sięgają początków XX wieku. Kolejne projekty zagospodarowania terenów górskich w skali regionalnej wykonano już w latach 30. ubiegłego wieku. Stanowiły one podstawę rozwoju tych ziem także pod względem gospodarczym. Środowisko intelektualne skupione wokół tych prac odegrało znaczącą rolę w tworzeniu systemu planowania przestrzennego i ochrony krajobrazu w Polsce.
The first development projects over Zakopane back early twentieth century. The next one projects arrangement space in mountain areas, the regional scale have already been done in the 30s of last century. These formed the basis for the development of these lands and economic development too. Intellectual environment centred around the work played a significant role in creating a system of spatial planning and landscape protection in Poland.
