Abstract
Współczesną urbanizację wyróżnia skala założeń i tempo zmian. Inną jej właściwością jest złożoność przestrzennej i funkcjonalnej struktury; pogłębiona rozrastaniem się miejskich funkcji w trzech wymiarach. Orientacja w złożonych systemach wymaga wsparcia. Potrzeba ta jest zaspokajana poprzez miejsca – wykreowane wysoką jakością architektury. Niektóre z jej obiektów stanowią ikony miasta/metropolii, a nawet całego kraju.
Contemporary urbanization distinguishes by scale and pace of changes. Another its feature is complexity of functional and space structure; deepened through urban functions expanding into three dimensions. Orientation in elaborate system requires support. The demand is realized through sites – created by high quality architecture. Some of its objects stand for city/metropolis and even a whole country.
