Abstract
Zespół sanktuaryjny w Łagiewnikach – dynamicznie rozwijające się centrum pielgrzymkowe, stanowi już nie tylko ważny ośrodek kultu religijnego. To jedno z najważniejszych dzieł architektury sakralnej powstałych w ciągu ostatnich 10 lat, powoli tworzy nowy znak w zapomnianym dotychczas rejonie Krakowa. Jako jedna z niewielu sakralnych budowli staje się ekspansywnym elementem popkultury, wyrastającym ponad swój religijny wymiar.
Łagiewniki Sanctuary – rapidly growing pilgrimage centre is not only a place of the religious devotion. It is one of the most important example of the sacred architecture of the last 10 years. It creates a new sign in the forgotten district of the city. As one of the few sacred buildings it became a well known component of the local popculture, overgrowing it's religious character.
