Abstract
Im bardziej historyczne miasto, tym większe zainteresowanie towarzyszy jego nowym dziełom architektury. Przeszłość miast badana jest przez historyków urbanistyki, jego teraźniejszość – przez specjalistów z wielu dziedzin, w tym krytyków architektury. W artykule krótko scharakteryzowano wybrane opinie uznanych polskich i zagranicznych historyków urbanistyki na temat współczesnej architektury, wprowadzanej do miast historycznych.
The more historic city, the bigger interest enjoyed by its new works of architecture. The past of cities is described by historians of urban design, the contemporary by specialists in many fields including architecture critics. In the article a number of opinions by renowned Polish and foreign historians on contemporary architecture introduced into historic cities was selected and shortly discussed.
