Abstract
Trójkondygnacyjna willa położona we Francji, na peryferiach miasta Bordeaux, miała być w zamierzeniu zaprojektowana tak aby jej niepełnosprawny właściciel mógł bez przeszkód poruszać się po wszystkich piętrach domu. Ten czynnik okazał się mieć zasadnicze znaczenie w projekcie tego niezwykłego obiektu. Za pomocą oryginalnie rozwiązanej windy-platformy (3 × 3,5 metra) Rem Koolhaas zdołał stworzyć dzieło, które mimo upływu lat wciąż inspiruje i zadziwia.
Three-floored villa has been built in France, in the Bordeaux city peripheries was intended to serve its disabled owner in the way he could move indoors without problems. This was the most important in the project of the unusual biulding. With the help of the lift-platform (3,5 × 3,0 m) Rem Koolhaas was able to create the design that, in spite of the years that have passed, inspires and amuses still.
