Abstract
Artykuł opisuje przemiany jakie zachodzą w nieuporządkowanej strukturze miast przemysłowych po ponownym zagospodarowaniu terenów i obiektów opuszczonych przez przemysł. Na przykładzie trzech centrów handlowych, zlokalizowanych w obrębie śródmiejskich terenów poprzemysłowych ukazuje, jak nowy obiekt może wpłynąć na jakość otaczającej go przestrzeni i zmienić jej dotychczasowy wizerunek.
The paper describes the changes that become in the chaotic structure of the industrial cities after revalorisation of the postindustrial areas. The examples of 3 new shopping centres located in postindustrial areas, exemplify how now object can positively affect the quality of the surrounding areas and change the image of the place.
