Abstract
W artykule przedstawiono przykłady rewitalizacji centralnych terenów mieszkaniowych (Kreuzberg w Berlinie, Praga Północ w Warszawie, Dolne Miasto w Gdańsku), gdzie istotnym elementem procesu stało się wprowadzenie obiektów kultury jako katalizatorów rozwoju tych obszarów. Jednocześnie analiza powyższych przykładów, w aspekcie ekonomizacji kultury, wskazuje na rolę dziedzictwa kulturowego jako istotnego potencjału rozwojowego. Projekty: Regenbogenfabrik na Kreuzbergu, Fabryka Trzciny na warszawskiej Pradze czy Galeria Zewnętrzna Miasta Gdańska to ciekawe inicjatywy kulturalno-artystyczne, każda o innym charakterze i skutkach przestrzennych.
In the article there are presented the examples of the revitalization of central housing districts (the Kreuzberg in Berlin, the Praga Północ in Warszawa, the Dolne Miasto in Gdańsk) where implementing the object of culture as catalyst of areas'development became essential element of a strategy. At the same time analysis of above mentioned examples, in the aspect of economy of culture are showing the role of cultural heritage as important development potential. Projects: the Regenbogenfabrik in Kreuzbergu, the Fabryka Trzciny in Praga or the Outside Gallery of the City of Gdańsk are interesting, cultural, artistic initiatives, with different character and spatial effects.
