W ostatnich latach we Wrocławiu wyremontowano kilka ruchomych zabytków techniki związanych z komunikacją zbiorową. Spośród nich na szczególną uwagę zasługuje tramwaj Maximum o numerze taborowym 325 z 1901 r., jedyny taki zachowany w Polsce i jeden z nielicznych tego typu wagonów na świecie. Jego duża wartość wynika z tego, że czteroosiowe tramwaje z początku XX w. są rzadkością na skalę światową. Celem artykułu jest omówienie historii wagonu oraz przebiegu remontu wraz z przedstawieniem głównych problemów. Prace przebiegały w pięciu etapach. Założono przywrócenie tramwajowi stanu pierwotnego, a jednocześnie, że pojazd po zakończeniu procesu odbudowy ma być w pełni sprawny i dopuszczony do ruchu ulicznego. Restauracja tramwaju została wyróżniona przez Oddział Dolnośląski Stowarzyszenia Konserwatorów Zabytków Dolnośląskim Laurem Konserwatorskim 2023 w kategorii „zabytek ruchomy”. Nagrodę przyznano za wzorową – choć trudną – konserwację pojazdu, poprzedzoną skrupulatnymi i złożonymi badaniami.
In recent years, several movable technical monuments related to public transport have been renovated in Wrocław. Among them, the Maximum tram with rolling stock number 325 from 1901 deserves special attention, the only one of its kind preserved in Poland and one of the few cars of this type in the world. Its high value is due to the fact that four-axle trams from the early twentieth century are rare on a global scale. The aim of the article is to discuss the history of the car and the renovation process, along with presenting the main problems. The work was carried out in five stages. It was assumed that the tram would be restored to its original condition and, at the same time, that the vehicle would be fully operational and allowed for road traffic after the reconstruction process. The tram restoration was awarded the Lower Silesian Conservation Laurel 2023 by the Lower Silesian Branch of the Association of Monument Conservators in the “movable monument” category. The award was granted for exemplary— although difficult—maintenance of the vehicle, preceded by meticulous and complex studies.
