Abstract
The thesis deals with the development and the numerical verification of large strain inelastic models in isothermal and non-isothermal conditions. The presented descriptions can reproduce the softening behaviour of materials resulting from three sources: geometrical effects, material degradation and temperature increase. Each presented model is implemented and numerically tested using selected benchmarks within the symbolic-numerical packages AceGen (code generator) and AceFEM (finite element engine). In the isothermal case two gradientenhanced material models are presented: elastoplasticity with damage acting on the elastic part of the free energy potential and elasto-plasticity with degradation of the yield strength. Selected aspects of the analyzed models are investigated. The core part of the dissertation is related to finite thermoplasticity. The presented material model involves thermal expansion, the production of heat due to plastic dissipation, thermal softening, understood as a reduction of the yield strength with increasing temperature, and the influence of geometry change on the heat flux. Finally, two nonlocal thermomechanical models are proposed: thermoplasticity with gradient averaging of the temperature increase responsible for thermal softening and thermo-plasticity with nonlocal degradation of the yield strength. The computational examination of these material descriptions focuses on the influence of the heat conductivity and internal length scales on the material response.
Praca doktorska zawiera sformułowanie i numeryczną weryfikację izotermicznych i nieizotermicznych modeli materiału uwzględniających duże odkształcenia i nieliniowe związki konstytutywne. Zaprezentowane opisy pozwalają na symulację odpowiedzi materiału z osłabieniem wynikającym z efektów geometrycznych, degradacji materiału oraz wzrostu temperatury. Implementacja i testy komputerowe wybranych benchmarków dla analizowanych modeli zostały przeprowadzone w symbolicznonumerycznych pakietach AceGen (generator kodów) i AceFEM (program metody elementów skończonych). W pracy przedstawione są dwa modele izotermiczne ze wzbogaceniem gradientowym: sprężystoplastyczność z uszkodzeniem wpływającym na część sprężystą potencjału energii swobodnej i sprężystoplastyczność z degradacją granicy plastyczności. Analizie są poddane wybrane aspekty omawianych modeli. Główna część dysertacji jest poświęcona termo-plastyczności. Zaprezentowany model lokalny uwzględnia rozszerzalność cieplną, produkcję ciepła wynikającą z dyssypacji plastycznej, osłabienie termiczne zrealizowane jako redukcja granicy plastyczności ze wzrostem temperatury oraz wpływ zmiany geometrii próbki na przepływ ciepła. Zaproponowane są dwa nielokalne modele termomechaniczne: termo-plastyczność z uśrednianiem wzrostu temperatury odpowiedzialnego za osłabienie termiczne i termoplastyczność z degradacją granicy plastyczności. Symulacje numeryczne wykonane dla tych opisów są skupione na badaniu wpływu przewodności cieplnej oraz wewnętrznej skali długości na odpowiedź materiału.
