Subiektywne, uzależnione od przyjętej perspektywy oglądu, pojęcie detalu architektonicznego jest zjawiskiem, które posiada swój komunikat rejestrowany przez podmiot. Złożoność retoryki i odczyt przedmiotu uzależnione są od zindywidualizowanych pokładów kultury jednostki funkcjonującej w danej strukturze społecznej.
