Abstract
Subtelny efekt, który zaobserwować można analizując zwieńczenia niektórych wieżowców, jest możliwy do uzyskania m.in. dzięki precyzyjnym opracowaniom detali architektonicznych, wykorzystującym potencjał współczesnych technologii budowlanych. Rozszerzają one możliwości konstruowania elementów skradających się na formę i gamę środków używanych do tworzenia transparentności i dematerializacji w architekturze. Tym samym mogą powstawać współczesne wieże, których zakończenia dają się w pełni zdefiniować jedynie w wyobraźni obserwatora.
The subtle effect, which can be observed when analyzing the finials of selected skyscrapers, is possible to obtain by means of precise exercise of architectural details, with the usage of the potential of modern building technologies. They extend the possibilities for constructing elements of form and range of resources, used to create transparency and dematerialization in architecture. Thus, modern towers may be built, with the finials that can be fully defined only in the observer's imagination.
