Abstract: Przedstawiono dwa wzorce procesu funkcjonowania architektury w czasie. Podstawą pierwszego jest rola ram pamięci społecznej. Zakłada on intencjonalną wieczność dzieła architektonicznego. Postawą drugiego jest pełnienie roli nośnika innowacyjności nazwanego metaforycznie wehikułem innowacyjności. Jego założeniami są: elastyczność, mobilność i swoista logika reprodukcji.

Two paradigms of the functioning of architecture in time have been presented. The basis of the first one is the role of social memory. This model assumes an intentional permanence of an architectural work. The second paradigm assumes as its basis the fulfillment of the role of carrier of innovativeness which has been referred to metaphorically as a vehicle of innovativeness. The main assumptions of the latter are: flexibility, mobility and a specific logic of reproduction.
