Abstract
Projektowane obiekty Żeglarskiego Ośrodka miały stanowić ważne architektonicznie rozwiązania przestrzenne z zastosowaniem współczesnych technologii budowlanych. Ukształtowanie formy i powiązania funkcjonalne są wynikiem twórczego nawiązania do tradycji architektury marynistycznej, a zastosowane elementy techniki budowlanej
umożliwiają realizację i eksploatację Centrum Żeglarstwa na najwyższym poziomie użytkowym w kraju, łącznie z ekologicznym ogrzewaniem pompą cieplną i systemem solarów. Urozmaicenie bryły budynku głównego centrum jest wynikiem integracji kompozycji architektonicznej i zastosowanych rozwiązań technologii.
Basic problems of sport’s marine architecture and integration of building technology were main topics of design and site works at National Sailing Center in Gdansk Gorki Zachodnie. The form of the building and functional conections are effects of art expression and using elements of modern technical systems based on ecological heating sources like geotermal equipment (underground pomps) and solar panels. Shaping of the building is the result of integration of architectural composition and technological aspect as well asof investor possibilities including plans for future exploatation.
