Abstract
Praca prezentuje głos w dyskusji na temat stanu współczesnej architektury. Selektywne spojrzenie na aktualne tendencje oraz analiza postaw związanych z projektowaniem architektonicznym prowadzą ku skontrastowaniu idei innowacyjnego projektowania z ideą eksplorowania i odkrywania miejsca. Ta ostatnia stanowi źródło odbudowy znaczenia wartości architektonicznych i odświeża pojęcie celowości w architekturze. Odkrywanie przestrzeni w ujęciu architektonicznym jest prawdziwie kreatywną odpowiedzią w relacji do środowiska przestrzennego.
The paper contributes to the discourse on condition of contemporary architecture. It explores recent tendencies and analyzes the approach to architectural design, confronting the concepts of innovative design and exploration and discovery of a location. The latter is expected to develop the revitalization of the architectural values and the understanding of purposeful architecture. The discovery of space in architectural terms is truly a creative response to the environment.
