Abstract
Artykuł rozważa negatywny wpływ strefowania funkcjonalnego i rozwiązań przestrzenno-formalnych osiedli modernistycznych na życie mieszkańców i ekologię na przykładzie osiedli w Poznaniu. Na podstawie teorii urbanistycznych i własnych obserwacji, uwzględniając kontekst historyczny, autorzy zauważają zalety i wady przestrzeni osiedli i definiują źródła jej negatywnego odbioru. W oparciu o współczesne idee urbanistyczne szukają rozwiązań mogących poprawić jakość przestrzeni tych struktur i życia w nich.
This essay discusses the negative influence of single-use zoning as well as spatial planning and form of modernist housing estates in Poznań on the life of inhabitants and on ecology. Taking into account the history of housing associations, it defines the problems of such estates. Based on research and observations of the author, notices advantages and disadvantages of the estates’ space. Also, it defines the sources of its negative perception by both inhabitants and guests. Finally, it searches for solutions based on postmodernist urbanism to better the quality of space and life in them.
