W ramach pracy doktorskiej podjęto próbę opracowania technologii wytwarzania aluminiowych części metodą Binder Jetting poprzez optymalizację parametrów procesu drukowania z wykorzystaniem proszku wsadowego o nieregularnym kształcie i różnym rozkładzie wielkości cząstek. Działania badawcze podjęte w celu realizacji niniejszej rozprawy doktorskiej podzielono na trzy zasadnicze części. W ramach pierwszego etapu dokonano doboru parametrów technologicznych druku, takich jak poziom nasycenia spoiwem, prędkość przesuwu rolki obrotowej i grubość warstwy, a także atmosfery ochronnej spiekania. W drugim stadium badań przeprowadzono ocenę wpływu rozkładu wielkości cząstek nieregularnego proszku Al na jakość wytwarzanych części. W tym celu przygotowano mieszanki proszkowe w udziale masowym frakcji proszku gruboziarnistego do drobnoziarnistego wynoszącym 73:27 lub 27:73. Próbki drukowano przy zastosowaniu parametrów zoptymalizowanych w pierwszej części pracy. W ramach trzeciego etapu badań dokonano analizy wpływu warunków procesu spiekania, takich jak szybkość nagrzewania, docelowa temperatura spiekania i poziom próżni, na właściwości produkowanych części. Przeprowadzone w ramach niniejszej pracy badania potwierdzają możliwość skutecznego zastosowania nieregularnego proszku aluminium do wytwarzania części w technologii Binder Jetting.
As part of the doctoral thesis an attempt was made to develop a technology for manufacturing aluminum parts using the Binder Jetting method by optimizing the parameters of the printing process using irregularly shaped feedstock powder and different particle size distribution. The research activities undertaken to complete this doctoral dissertation were divided into three main parts. As part of the first stage, the printing technological parameters were selected, such as binder saturation, roller traverse speed and layer thickness, as well as the sintering protective atmosphere. In the second stage of the research, the effect of the particle size distribution of irregular Al powder on the quality of manufactured parts was evaluated. For this purpose, powder mixtures were prepared at coarse to fine powder fraction mass ratio of 73:27 or 27:73. The samples were printed using the parameters optimized in the first part of the work. As part of the third stage of the research, the impact of the sintering process conditions, such as heating rate, target sintering temperature and vacuum level, on the properties of manufactured parts was analyzed. The research conducted within the framework of this work confirms the possibility of the effective use of irregular aluminum powder for manufacturing parts using Binder Jetting technology.
