The term „culture of architecture (building)” denotes a manner in which architectural and engineering structures are shaped to become an inherent part of the idea of city's long-term sustained development. In the period of revitalisation of city space, it may be said that the „culture of architecture” is a sign of a society's aesthetic maturity and that it strongly influences economic growth, the improvement of social conditions and ecological sustainability of space. At present, both the artistic form of buildings as well as new building technologies and materials are of prime quality. They frequently replace worn-out materials and solutions in processes of spatial revitalisation.
The culture of architecture includes all elements of built-up space influencing its quality, i.e., urban development, architecture, engineering structures, infrastructure, and the economy of construction. All these elements of space influence the aesthetics of cities and the development of open landscape.
